Individual counselling offers a safe, intentional space to explore your thoughts, emotions, relationships, and patterns. It’s a place to gain new perspectives, develop healthier ways of coping, and find support in times of crisis.
People seek counselling for many reasons: when they feel stuck, overwhelmed, isolated, unsure how to move forward, or aware that something in their life or relationships needs to change.
No matter the reason, counselling aims to support your mental and emotional wellbeing, strengthen your relationships, and help you move toward a more grounded, abundant life.
Your first session with Alison is a 60-minute consultation designed to help you feel grounded, safe and informed. You’ll have space to ask questions, understand how confidentiality works, and complete any necessary paperwork.
Together, you’ll begin exploring your story—what’s been challenging, what feels important right now, and what you hope will change.
By the end of the session, you can expect a clear sense of how Alison can support you, along with a start of a collaborative counselling plan outlining your goals, priorities, and next steps.
